COUNTERPOINT: The Future of Health Care with President Donna Shalala
By Michael Matthiesen posted May 04, 2011 at 10:33 PM

On Friday May 6th @ 1pm, Former Secretary of Health and Human Services under the Clinton Administration and current President of the University of Miami Donna Shalala will join Wes, Vinny, and Michael on "Counterpoint" to discuss the Future of Health Care for America. With the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act having taken its first effects in March of last year, the United States is preparing for some big changes down the road. However, few understand what the 1,018-page Health Care bill passed on March 23, 2010 has in store for Americans. President Shalala will discuss what to expect come January 1, 2014 when a large number of the bill's provisions come into effect. Feel free to tweet, facebook, or text in with any questions for our hosts and President Shalala.
