Borgore interviewed on the Voice!
By Amber Robertson posted Jun 05, 2010 at 02:44 PM

Big thanks to Borgore who called in for a phone interview on Friday, June 6 just an hour after his plane landed in Miami. In town for the show he was playing at Ecco in downtown, he had a big night ahead of him but he seemed relaxed on the phone. Borgore, a classically trained musician who currently produces dubstep tracks & remixes, is no stranger to Miami, rocking the crowd as a guest at a “Get Low” party at Vagabond back in October ‘09. Borgore talked to us about his work with Diplo and his upcoming releases with Passion Pit and Mstrkrft. The Tel-Aviv born artist has been invited by M.I.A. to play at the notoriously good Hard Festivals in LA and New York.

The Skinny on Sasquatch! Music Festival, 2010
By John Farrey posted Jun 04, 2010 at 02:10 PM

It's an obligatory pilgrimage. Every Memorial Day weekend for the past five years, I've made the long journey over the Cascade Mountains to the rolling deserts of Eastern Washington State. This festival has over 100 performances over 3 days, but I've highlighted only the best for your reading pleasure.

Afrobeta a l’internationale!
By posted May 27, 2010 at 12:42 PM

image Miami’s own Afrobeta, after an incredible global audience debut during Ultra, is now officially going global! Their summer plans include a European tour where they will perform at Ibiza and Glastonbury Festival, but they shall leave in style! (Did we expect anything else from Cuci and Smurphio?) They are hosting a farewell party at the new and improved Grand Central Saturday, June 5th.

Afrobeta, Dances with White Girls, Mike Deuce and Jessica Who will take the main stage while Nightdrive DJs Laura of Miami and Stravinsky take care of the garage.
