By SpinnZinn posted Dec 22, 2011 at 04:17 PM

This week we welcome back our good friend Sam Zarif and new comer Vinicio Rotelli!

Sam Zarif

From his sets at Pete Tong's Friday Pool Party and the Sunday Closing Party at the legendary Surfcomber during Miami Music Week to his weekly resIdency at Haven lounge in South Beach, Lebanese-born Sam Zarif, has now made his mark on the Miami House Music scene. Influenced by artists like Dave Seaman, Sasha, Mark Knight and Radio Slave, Zarif's discerning ear for music has sculpted a unique sound that elevates him way beyond his years. In Miami, he has rocked established parties like 4X4 radio’s “C Level Sessions” at the Clevelander Hotel, The Shore Club Sunday Pool Party and Nikki Beach’s infamous Sunday soiree to more underground venues like Mekka and Discoteca for after hours. Catch him at his new residency on South Beach Saturday nights at the hottest new lounge, "Haven" and visit the archives of WVUM 90.5 FM’s website to hear his exclusive live set recorded February 17th as he took charge of the studio and rocked the weekly radio show appropriately entitled “Bassment Sessions,” dedicated to live sets from Miami’s best underground music jocks. Listen to his latest mixes here.

Vinicio Rotelli
Vinicio Rotelli a product of Miami, made with Venezuelan & Italian parts that came together in Spain. I was born in Venezuela on February 29th, from an Italian father and a Venezuelan mother. After Elementary school at age 10 my family relocated to Spain; where I lived out my teenage years. While in Spain I attended my first Warehouse party in 1995…my perspective of life was forever changed by the invigorating sounds of HOUSE music. A few years later, we moved once again to the place that I call home since 1998: Miami. And is in Miami where my love for House music intensifies to the point where I ask myself “What would it feel like to be behind the decks and play the music I adore that would make us all party and dance?” And then my dream of becoming Dj Vinicio Rotelli is conceived in the midst of all the parties that I was promoting in 2000 for various local Clubs. We all know that a good promoter networks and parties at every event, and I was no exception. So I had the opportunity to listen live to some of the Djs that influenced me like Oscar G., Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Danny Howeels, Lee Burridge...In the meantime I start practicing with a determination to turn that dream into reality. I started playing in 2001 in a club Downtown Miami that was called ENVY (this is where it all began), then Priviledge, Mad House, and more. Over time as my career progressed I’ve played alongside amazing Dj/Producer(s) like Saeed & Palash, Jonathan Peters, Oscar G., Roland Clark, Wady, DMS 12,Lee Burridge, Timo Maas, Heidi, Edgar V, Lazaro Casanova, Luis Puig, Armand Pena, Plastik Funk, Markus Binapfl, Lazardi and many more. Right now musically I consider myself as a Tech House Dj; except that is what we call “Tribal Tech House” a fusion of Tech-Tribal-Deep-Techno-Vocals & Acapellas,..For the last 2 years I have teamed up with Industry Playground, Beedroom Muzik, Nocturnal(Residency), Nikki Beach, Tropicasa, Crobar Miami, Aerobar, Club Space ,Club 50(Residency), and we all have one thing in common; we share an intense and passionate love, ONE LOVE and it is THE LOVE OF OUR MUSIC: HOUSE.
