Catch born and (mostly) bred Miamian, Darwin Castillo as he drops his mix of partly minimal partly funky partly tropical tunes for us in the WVUM studio on 5/10. Darwin attributes his sound to influences from all sorts of genres like pop, salsa, house, electroclash, minimal, disco, jazz and funk just to name a few. He has played at events in Miami and recently has begun playing at Techno Beach, a monthly party in Fort Lauderdale that showcases the best of techno, electro tropical, and minimal.
