Festival in the Spotlight: CAM Fest

Find out what those Frost kids do all day long at CAM Fest, hosted by the Bruce Hornsby Creative American Music Program, where UM songwriters will perform original songs in a contemporary showcase setting that will amaze and impress you. Four nights to choose from…or attend them all!

Prepare to be wowed starting Monday, December 2nd at the Clarke Recital Hall at the University of Miami for a showcase of original material performed live by the university's own creative American music students in a 4 night gala of music ranging from Bluegrass to EDM. 

Monday December 2 - Folk U

The Anglo American Roots Ensemble will perform a repertoire of original Old-TIme, Bluegrass and Americana music, directed by Carlos Rivera

Tuesday December 3 - Vintage Pop

The Modern American Pop Ensemble will put on a show of 60s and 70s inspired tunes featuring "Vintage Pop" and directed by Raina Murnak.

Wednesday December 4 - Rising Stars

CAM's top songwriters perform as the American Music Ensemble for an evening of original musical material directed by program directors Rey Sanchez and Daniel Strange. 

Thursday December 5 - 3-D 

Get your rage on with Frost's EDM Ensemble for an exposition of original Dubstep, Deep House and Downtempo jams...a truly 3D experience!
