Hands Across the Sand is a world-wide event bringing together millions of people on thousands of beaches with one common message: say no to offshore drilling and yes to clean energy. The purpose is to draw a literal and figurative line in the sand to protect our coasts from future oil-related disasters. If you’d like to help protect the future of the world’s coastlines, you can come to the Miami location, along the sand of South Beach’s 5th Street, this Saturday from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM.
For more information and to RSVP, visit the Hands Across the Sand site or the Miami event Facebook page.
And make sure you wear black!
