Tallest Man on Earth at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta

By Alyssa Zirkman posted Jun 12, 2013 at 03:04 PM

The Tallest Man on Earth performs a fun and beautiful show.

From the moment Kristian Matsson awkwardly stumbled onto the stage with a guitar in hand, I knew it would be a fun night.  I was dubious that the performance would be fun to go to as The Tallest Man on Earth is not exactly head-banging, hand-clapping music.  I was very wrong.

The Tallest Man on Earth played a fantastic set, alternating between an acoustic and electric guitar every song.  He played songs off of several of his albums but I must say when he played "Like the Wheel" I almost teared up.  Every single member of the audience was a true fan, softly singing to every song, not loud enough to cover up Tallest Man's beautiful vocals.  His guitar skills were just as astounding.  The vibe of the show was one of true love and support for this single man.  Tallest Man told a few jokes here and there but most of all he kept thanking his audience for all of their support.  It was obvious he meant every word.

Tallest Man finished the show with a three song encore, much to the audience's delight.  He put on such a fun and happy show that one could not help but leave smiling.
