Things I’ve Learned from the Internet So Far

By Kathleen Elise posted Jan 14, 2011 at 01:39 AM

Lately, I've been coming across more and more things on the interwebz that make me think, "This is awesome. Them WVUM folks would think this is awesome, too." With that in mind, I've decided to start a new feature wherein we highlight some of the random cool stuff that's popped up on the Internet recently. Read on to see what the Internet has taught me this week.

#1 - It's okay to totally sell out as long as you own up to it by going on The Colbert Report and threatening to pummel other (former) indie darlings. Note: must remain endearingly awkward while doing so.

The Colbert Report Mon - Thurs 11:30pm / 10:30c
MeTunes - Grammy Vote - Dan Auerbach, Patrick Carney & Ezra Koenig
Colbert Report Full Episodes Political Humor & Satire Blog Video Archive

#2 - Old songs immediately become awesome again when sung by painfully adorable toddlers.

#3 - Our secret's out.
