WVUM Sports This Week

WVUM Sports makes it's first trip out of Miami for a sporting event and WVUM's coverage of basketball continues.

Hurricanes Games

WVUM Sports will be having a busy week beginning Tuesday night as the 1-0 UM Men's Basketball team will take on the 1-0 Rutgers Scarlet Knights of the Big East. Coverage begins at 7 PM from the BankUnited Center. WVUM's Alex Schwartz and Jordan Kroeger will be on the call.

Yet more basketball action on the station on Thursday as the 7th ranked Lady Canes take on Prairie View A&M at 7 PM. Kyle Sielaff and Jon Gottlieb will be live from media row at the BUC.

WVUM will be making the trip to cover the UM football game against USF (the uniforms they'll be wearing shown in the blog post's picture). UM looks to become bowl eligible and we'll have the coverage beginning at 3 PM as Eric Hahn, Andrew Dymburt, and Jordan Kroeger will make the trip to Tampa to call the game. 

Directly following the game we go from Raymond James Stadium to the BankUnited Center as the UM Men's Basketball team will be in action taking on the University of North Florida. Chris Wittyngham will be flying solo on the call.

Talk Shows

WVUM will have continuing coverage of the Hurricanes, NBA Lockout, Penn State Scandal, and everything in the sports world all weekend long with our three weekly talk shows.

Austen Gregerson, Andrew Levine, and Matt Nykaza will have the breakdown of everything Miami Hurricanes on Friday night with Ibis Sports Weekly from 6-7 PM.

Alex Schwartz, AJ Ricketts, and Matt Ciabattari will break down UM-USF as well as the entire sports world on Saturday with WVUM Sports Saturday on Saturday from 12-1.

Finally, Zack Estock, Sergio Guarnizo, and Jeff Gibert will broaden out and cover the national sports landscape on Beyond the Scope on Sunday from 12-1
