Yes Institute on Not For Profit

By Hyan Freitas posted Jul 07, 2012 at 10:02 AM

Today, July 7th, we'll speak to the folks from the Yes Institute. They're an organization that deals with topics relevant to gender and orientation in Miami and abroad.  They say they aren't here for activism or policy change.  They just want to talk.  So, we'll talk at 2pm.

We actually recorded the interview last week and it will be airing today at 2pm.  We talked about their many programs that inititate dialogues on the subject of gender and orientation, heard powerful testimonials, and thoughts of what society will face in the future.

We'll also speak about a recent article in The Miami Hurricane which detailed the road Josepsh Zolobczuk, a director at the Yes Institute and a UM alum, took to win top honors as a humanitarian; Sharing an award with the likes of Don Shula, President Donna Shalala and others:

Let us hear from you!
