Click for a download of an interview Michna (Ghostly International) and Harlan Erskine did with Datathief on March 2, 2001, covering their first time performing in America at the famed Meza Art Gallery in Coral Gables. Datathief, from Manchester, were big in the scene producing electro from '97-'03. In '97, Datathief was put on a cult compilation album by Autechre, who had a label called Skam back in the 90s.

Michna hosted the Underground from 1998-2001.

They strive to end child sexual abuse in Miami-Dade country, and one of their representatives, Maria Rodriguez, joined me in the studio for an in-depth interview a few weeks ago. The 11th annual Miami-Dade Walk Now For Autism Speaks fundraising event will be taking place on February 27 at JC Bermudez Park in Doral.

The walks take place worldwide and all profits benefit Autism Speaks, an organization that provides funding for research on autism, raises awareness about the disorder and helps the families of those who are affected by it.

Hey folks, as many of you have heard French Nu-Disco guru, Anoraak (Valerie Collective), will be playing this Friday at Bardot. We're getting the inside scoop from him tomorrow live on air at 5:30Pm during Laura's Rotation Show. We'll also be giving away a pair of tickets to the show.  You can also grab some tracks on the Nightdrive blog and they're also giving away some passes.

PS: He's shooting a music video Thursday moring (2.24.11) behind 5875 Collins Ave on Miami Beach from 9 am - 1pm and he needs extras. Come be in the shoot looking like a typical "beach person".... Plus they'll be giving away Anoraak beach bags, CD's, and goodies.
