by

Sorry this is a bit late I had a few technical difficulties on that show in addition to playing a bunch of vinyl, but now here in no particular order are the songs that I think I played :
Music of Greece!
Triantafilia | Myrtate (beautiful vocals and traditional greek instruments, very well produced!)
A number of tracks from an 1972 National Geographic vinyl release called “The Music of Greece”
Some tracks I played:
Zeibekiko
Rebetiko (really cool vocals!)
Pantinadha
Mekapses Yitonisa
Meghalo Kangeli
Mandinada
Then a bunch from a record called “Bouzoukee: The Music of Greece” by an artist named Iordanis Tsomidis including:
To Plousiopedo
San K’emena Palikari
O Iordania Patomos
Nisiotikos Choros
Mis Sto Krasi Mou
Then from the Putumayo Compilation “Putumayo presents Greece: A Musical Odyssey
Ah, Feggaraki Mou | Sofia Papazoglou & Gerasimos Andreatos
Ta Ziliarika Sou Matia | Glykeria
Ela Mia Nichta | Theodosia Stiga (awesome sound!)
To Parelthon Thimithika | Apenanti & Melina Aslanidou
And then I finished off with two tracks from a vinyl record called “Hot Summer in Greece”, which I’ll be posting all the info from to my blog
SOUNDS IMPORTED BLOG
Along with a bunch of other Greek music, so check it out! Much love and see you all again next sunday at 6:30!
