No Zebras: ‘Canes Against Sexual Assault
Stephanie and Katie recently joined ‘Not For Profit’ host Shelly to discuss the work they have been doing with No Zebras.
A herd of zebras will sit by and watch one of their own be attacked by a lion. Don’t be a zebra!
No Zebras is a student group that aims to address and reform the behaviors, ideas, and misconceptions, of the University of Miami student body regarding sexual assault.
Their mission is to raise awareness about the issue of sexual assault and to educate the University of Miami community about the resources available to survivors here on campus and in the Coral Gables Community.
Hear a brief testimonial from Katie taken from the interview here:
Shelly is the host of N4P, WVUM's weekly dialogue with, and for, non-profit organizations in our community. Every Saturday from 10-11AM, she interviews charitable organizations, including the arts, animal welfare, education, health care and youth development. Her mission is to increase local philanthropy and provide community engagement opportunities for every Miamian.
