What to do While You’re Missing iii Points
If you’re like me, you aren’t going to the iii Points Music Festival, and you’re sad about it. There are numerous reasons to not be in attendance: money, school, work … Even still, I can personally foresee myself experiencing a lot of FOMO as I watch snapchat stories of the festival. To potentially prevent feeling sorry for myself, I decided to take charge of my President’s Day weekend. Miami is never boring and there’s never nothing or even just one cool thing to do. Here’s some [cheaper] things you can do instead of III Points:
ART
Where: 2700 S. Bayshore Drive, Miami, FL 33133
Cost: General Admission - $15 per person per day. Discount prices for buying ahead of time
When: February 16th & 17th 10 am - 6 pm & 18th 10 am - 5 pm
Description:
Food - celebrity chef led demonstrations & 50+ restaurants and gourmet vendors
Music - live music on the lawn of Peacock Park
Art - 360+ artists showcasing their work. The festival collection contains 15 mediums of nearly every style

Description:
One of the most prominent art fairs in Miami with international contemporary art. Artists featured include emerging, mid-career, and master artists.
Miami Yacht Show will be occurring alongside the event

Description:
XYZT: Abstract Landscapes is a travelling installation created by Adrien M & Claire B. Interactive technology art. Looks so cool - very instagrammable.
Must plan visit ahead of time. Sessions are every 60 minutes. Arrive 10 minutes ahead of time.

If you like looking at really cool, fancy, big boats, this is your event. Some of the world’s most extraordinary boats will be showcased. If you want to know what it like to be super boujee for a day, invest.

Description:
A marketplace featuring local artists. Market items include handmade crafts, vintage finds, and art. Also found at the market: artisanal food and libations, live music, and a fun atmosphere in an outdoor space.
