MD's Music Mondays: Week One
Hey what’s up Miami! I hope you are all doing well. With the unfortunate pause on WVUM programming, our station cannot bring the exposure to new artists like we used to. So, each week, I will be bringing my music director picks of some of the best in new music. It is vital to keep supporting musicians and the local scenes wherever you are during this time, so I’ll be listing some new virtual events and ways to support some South Florida talent! Stay safe everyone :)
Ways to support some local scenes in South Florida!
Technique Records - The beloved record store has moved to completely online sales during this time. The store will be doing curbside pickups for all records and merchandise as well as shipping.

Bandcamp - The music purchasing website has taken off tremendously in the past few days and is one of the best ways to support local and independent artists. Through the website people can purchase music or merchandise on the artists’ individual pages.
Picks of the Week!
Honestly, this past week has been such a good week for music and quite a few local artists have released music as well, so this is a great time to support the local scene. So, here’s some of my favorites! Enjoy!
